RAK Ruler issues law on promotional campaigns for commercial advertising

Ras Al Khaimah: His Highness Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has issued a law pertaining to promotional campaigns and special offers for commercial advertising purposes. Law No. 05 of 2016 stipulated that those who wish to launch a promotional campaign or to run special offers should obtain permission least two weeks before the scheduled date for the beginning of the campaign or the offer.

The law is effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette.
