Authorities urged the public to remain vigilant, particularly when receiving suspicious messages or encountering websites impersonating official entities such as GDRFA Dubai.

Residents are encouraged to use the “Cybersecurity Incident Reporting” option via the Amer Contact Centre (800 5111) to report any suspected fraud immediately.

When should you use the cybersecurity reporting option?

Residents should report incidents in the following cases:

  • Accounts misusing the entity’s name

  • Websites impersonating official entities

  • Any suspected cybersecurity threat

  • Fake or misleading digital transactions

Officials stressed that swift reporting plays a key role in preventing cybercrime and safeguarding the wider community, noting that public awareness and cooperation are essential in combating digital risks.

GDRFA reiterated that protecting users’ digital security remains a top priority, calling on residents to stay alert and report any suspicious activity without delay.
