Victorious Al Wahda to get a new coach

Abu Dhabi: Former Romainian midfielder Laurentiu Reghecampf will take over the reins from Javier Aguirre as coach of Al Wahda Club.

Al Wahda won the President’s Cup beating Al Nasr 3-0 on Friday but that didn’t help Aguirre get an extension on the contract that was ending in June.

“It was a decision taken long time ago and Reghecampf will be Aguirre’s replacement,” confirmed a club official on the condition of anonymity.
