Sharjah Police thrash Al Suqoor

Sharjah: Sharjah Police went within touching distance of a spot in the knock-outs following their 6-1 thrashing of Al Suqoor in the Sharjah Ramadan Football Championship (SRFC).

Sabri Jameel opened the scoring in the sixth minute while Rodrigo Xavier doubled the lead. Kuwait’s Abdul Rahman Talal and Xavier added to the tally as the cops led 4-0 at the break. Majid Al Hossani and Talal scored the fifth and sixth, while Khalid Al Saqtari managed to pulled one back for Al Suqoor.

In other matches, Al Inthar (Innovation) drew 3-3 with Al Amal, while Al Bahri left it late for a 2-1 result against Al Wataniya, and Quattro beat Al Nojoom 3-1.
