Shabab Al Ahli sign Diaz

Dubai: Shabab Al Ahli Dubai Club have signed Argentine attacking midfielder Mauro Diaz from the USA’s Dallas on a three-year-deal. The 27-year-old former River Plate player scored two goals in 12 appearances for Dallas last season. He becomes Al Ahli’s first foreign signing after Brazilian-born Moldovan forward Henrqiue Luvannor was retained. Senegal’s Makhete Diop, Korea’s Moon Chang-jin and Croatia’s Ante Erceg have all left and Chilean coach Jose Sierra is expected to be announced as Mahdi Ali’s replacement next week.
