Abu Dhabi: Brazilian striker Romarinho has left Al Jazira for Saudi Arabia’s Al Ittihad. The transfer leaves the Abu Dhabi club, now led by Dutchman Marcel Keizer, with Ghanaian winger Ernest Asante, who has joined from Denmark’s Nordsjaelland, and Cameroonian midfielder Sebastien Siani from Belgium’s Antwerp.

Brazilian midfielder Leonardo also returns after his loan spell in Saudi with Al Nassr last season. Romarinho scored against Real Madrid in Al Jazira’s run to the Fifa Club World Cup semi-finals in December.
