Kalba signs Matei

Kalba: Romanian midfielder Florentin Matei has joined newly promoted Kalba on a one-year deal from Croatian side Rijeka. The 25-year-old former Steaua Bucharest, Cesena and Volyn Lutsk player scored four in 13 appearances on loan with Romania’s Astra last season.

Matei is Kalba’s first signing under coach Jorvan Vieira since the Brazilian led the side back to the Arabian Gulf League via automatic promotion after finishing second in league two at the expense of Diego Maradona’s Fujairah.
