Fujairah sign Hatta’s Gabriel

Fujairah: Newly-promoted Fujairah have signed 30-year-old Brazilian attacking-midfielder Fernando Gabriel from Hatta for three seasons, it was announced on Wednesday. Gabriel is the club’s second signing after 28-year-old Algerian forward Mohammad Bin Yettou joined from Saudi Arabia’s Al Shabab last week. Fujairah beat Hatta 3-1 on aggregate in the play-offs to decide relegation and promotion earlier this month. Argentine forward Danilo Carando and French midfielder Omar Kossoko are not expected to be retained by Fujairah.
