Dubai: Imagine swimming 2km, cycling 80km, and running 18km — all in one day. Exhausting, right? Now imagine doing that every single day for more than three months.
That’s exactly what one of the UAE’s most respected endurance athletes, Ghani Souleymane, has accomplished. On Sunday, November 16, during the Dubai T100 Triathlon at Meydan, Ghani will complete his 100th consecutive triathlon, covering an extraordinary total distance of 10,000km.
“This weekend, I’ll be completing my 100th T100 Triathlon, joining thousands of athletes from Dubai and around the world at the T100 Race Village — and crossing the finish line into the record books,” said Ghani.
Ghani began his journey on August 8 at Kite Beach, now home to the DP World 30×30 Fitness Village during Dubai Fitness Challenge (DFC). His daily effort has captured the imagination of Dubai’s fitness community, and his final run will bring the challenge full circle in front of thousands of supporters and spectators.
After breaking the Guinness World Record last month for completing 80 consecutive triathlons, Ghani kept pushing — covering a 2km swim, 80km bike ride, and 18km run every day for 100 days. His dedication embodies the spirit of DFC 2025: that extraordinary goals can be achieved through consistent effort and community support.
This milestone also coincides with both DFC 2025 and the Dubai T100 Triathlon (13—16 November) — part of the global T100 Triathlon World Tour.
“From day one, my goal has been to inspire others — to show how sport can change lives and bring people together,” Ghani said.
“What I love about Dubai Fitness Challenge is how it unites everyone — running groups, cycling clubs, families, beginners — all moving with a shared purpose. The challenge is simple — 30 minutes a day for 30 days — but it’s powerful when we do it together. My T100×100 challenge isn’t just a personal goal; it’s proof of what’s possible when a community supports one another. That’s the spirit of DFC, and I’m proud to be part of it.”
Despite the physical and mental challenges of his journey, Ghani credits Dubai’s energy — especially during DFC — with motivating him to keep going.
His story perfectly embodies DFC 2025’s “Find Your Challenge” theme. Whether it’s 100 triathlons or 30 minutes of movement each day, the true power lies in showing up consistently — and doing it together.
Beyond athletic achievement, Ghani’s challenge also supports a charitable cause, raising funds for children affected by conflict — reflecting DFC’s core mission since its launch in 2017: to use fitness as a force for positive change.
The Dubai T100 Triathlon is one of several world-class events taking place during DFC 2025, alongside Dubai Premier Padel P1 (9—16 November), the DP World Tour Championship (13—16 November), and the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens (28—30 November).
Throughout November, Dubai transforms into a citywide celebration of movement, well-being, and community. Running from 1 to 30 November, Dubai Fitness Challenge 2025 invites everyone to commit to 30 minutes of daily activity for 30 days, featuring three free Fitness Villages, 30 Community Fitness Hubs, four flagship mass participation events, and thousands of free classes and activities across the city.
