Dubai Sports City rugby clinic signs up legends

Dubai: Rugby union legends Shane Williams, Carlos Spencer and Brian Lima will hold a coaching clinic at Dubai Sports City’s Academies Campus on Wednesday from 7-9pm.

Spencer, a former All Blacks outside-half, will offer kicking tips, while Williams, an ex-Wales winger and the 2008 IRB International Player of the Year, will reveal the secrets of his attacking flair. Samoan Lima, who played in five Rugby World Cups and earned the nickname ‘The Chiropractor’ for his bone-crunching tackles, will show how to go about the job of defending.

The trio are in Dubai to take part in the Fighting Chance Dubai boxing event at DSC’s Football Dome on Friday.
