Lewis Hamilton wins Italian Grand Prix

Monza, Italy: Lewis Hamilton extended his world championship lead with a spectacular triumph at Monza on Sunday where he overtook Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel on the first lap on his way to winning the Italian Grand Prix.

The Mercedes driver would not definitively overtake pole-sitter Kimi Raikkonen, also of Ferrari, until the final few laps with the Finn coming second and Valtteri Bottas third ahead of Vettel.
