Smith wins LIV Golf Invitational Individual and $4 million first prize in Chicago

Aussie finished final day at Rich Harvest Farms with three bogeys against six birdies

Cameron Smith (Aus) shot a third and final round of 69 on Sunday for a three round total of 13 under par to claim his maiden LIV Golf Series title and a first prize of $4 million in the Chicago Invitational.

The 29 year-old Aussie finished his final day at Rich Harvest Farms with three bogeys against six birdies, highlighted by closing gains on holes 17 and 18 to reach 13 under par, three clear of Peter Uihlein and Dustin Johnson.

For his maiden LIV Golf title, also earns 40 LIV Golf ranking points.

24 under par

In the Team Event the 4 Aces GC won their fourth consecutive Team title with a score of 24 under par, with Talor Gooch, Dustin Johnson, Pat Perez and Patrick Reed sharing the $3 million Team first prize.

The next event on the LIV Golf Invitational calendar is the $25 million LIV Golf Invitational at a brand new championship golf course in the Pathum Thani province of Thailand, Stonehill will host the LIV Golf Invitational Thailand from October 7th – 9th, 2022.
