Dubai: As India celebrated their Champions Trophy triumph after their win over New Zealand in the final, another moment that caught the attention at the venue in Dubai was legendary India cricketer Sunil Gavaskar dancing in joy like a kid.

Gavaskar was seen jumping with joy and dancing adorably, a moment that went viral on social media. Watching Gavaskar dance, former India spinner Harbhajan Singh mentioned how his contributions to Indian cricket inspired generations to play the game.

“He shouldn’t stop, why should he stop? It’s great to see him like this. These are the legends of our country, they are our veterans. We’re here because of them only because when they started playing and took the team to several historic moments which inspired us to play this game. We’re lucky that we could win those trophies and he’s living that moment again that India have won a trophy,” said Harbhajan Singh on Star Sports.

Fans flooded the comment section with reactions, calling the 75-year-old a “cutie” and “pookie.” Some users compared their own celebrations to his, while others referenced viral trends, dubbing him “Trophy paglu” and “Winnerpaglu sunny-pookie.”
