Afridi, Malinga set to ignite One-day series

Dubai: Pakistan has recalled Shahid Afridi into the One-day team to play Sri Lanka in the five-match series here.

Pakistan is fielding a strong team by including the veteran all-rounder Adul Razzaq, pacer Sohail Tanvir and batsman Umar Akmal.

Sri Lanka too announced their one-day squad with Lasith Malinga set to spearhead the attack. Opener Upul Tharanga and pacer Dilhara Fernando too are back in the squad.

"The return of all the top stars is a bound to make the One-day series very exciting. It will be a treat to all the cricket fans here," said Maqbul Dudhia, general manager Sports Business of the Dubai Sports City.

The Dubai International Cricket stadium will host the first three matches on November 11, 14 and 18 with Sharjah Stadium hosting the fourth One-day match and Abu Dhabi staging the fifth.
