We all have our personal lists - of the zaniest/quirkiest/
funniest/craziest/smartest ... We devote this page to them.

This week, Michael Drowley is a musician and member of Dubai Lime Community, lists ...

You need a haircut: I don't like cutting my hair and in any case I think the long, shaggy look suits me quite well. If anyone suggests this, it just drives me to never want to cut my hair again!

Shave your beard: It is one of those things that comes down to personal preference. And besides, I do not like having to wake up early every morning!

Tidy your room: This one stems from the good old days as a kid growing up. My mum used to tell me to clean my room but I was just never interested. Anyway, converting the floor into a wardrobe is quite an efficient way of keeping track of your clothes!

Do your homework: This is something that still plagues me to this day. When I used to get asked to do my homework, it would make me want to close my books and dash outside to kick the ball. Perhaps I was just a rebellious teen who wanted to come up against authority!

Be careful: Whenever someone says be careful I get the urge to do something with high levels of risk involved. It's great but sometimes I would end up in hospital!

Slow down: Call it stupidity but I love driving fast. This doesn't have to be in the car only but also on my pedal bike or on a snowboard! I regularly feel the need for speed!

You are cool: Once in a while you can comment on my coolness. But it gets tired once you begin saying it every day because surely I don't need a daily boost to continue feeling good about myself.

Save your money: Although it may not seem so, I am actually fully aware of the implications of spending my whole pay cheque each month and I don't just do it without thinking, I knowingly blow just about every last penny I earn!

Go to bed: I understand the sentiment and the usual tone with which this request is presented but watching another episode of my favourite programme is more appealing than turning in for the night!

I love you: Real love isn't just a word that gets thrown about from person to person. Real love is something that is built so if ever you want to tell me that you love me, you better have proof!
