World Peace award delegation leaves for Rome

UAE only Arab country taking part in games supporting tolerance

Dubai: The delegation of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for World Peace (MRAWP) left the UAE on Tuesday for Rome to participate in the Peace Match there on Wednesday.

The delegation comprises Ahmad Al Mansouri, secretary-general, Mohammad Bin Rashid Award for Tolerance; other senior officials and football player Esmail Mattar.

MRAWP has received an invitation from the Pope to represent the UAE, the only Arab country to participate in the game, which will feature football stars such as Ronaldinho, Michel Salgado, Roberto Carlos and others.
