Dubai: Dr Hanif Hassan, chairman of the Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue, has lauded a UAE humanitarian initiative that aims to buy a church and convert it into a social centre in the province of Cornwall in the south of Britain.
The initiative, launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reflects the deep vision of the wise leadership, which used to launch quality initiatives that aim to promote the values of tolerance, cooperation and solidarity between all peoples, Dr Hassan said.
Islam’s principles represent the solid ground for the wise leadership’s future vision, he added.
