Umm Al Quwain-based Gulf News reader Ali Al Shahawy took this photograph in Sharjah. He said: “I was able to know the meaning of ‘landscape’ when I took this picture of Al Majaz Waterfront. This shot was one of the hardest ones of my life, as I climbed 48 floors to get to the roof of a building in 35 minutes.”
