New stamps released on ‘Key Strategic Projects of Shaikh Khalifa

Dubai: Emirates Post Group has issued a set of commemorative stamps on Key Strategic Projects of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The stamps showcase four major projects of the UAE; Etihad Rail, Masdar City, Shams 1 Solar Power Plant and Khalifa Port.

“Each of these projects has a strong historical significance and herald a big leap for the UAE in four different fields. We are pleased to preserve these projects for posterity through these stamps that will carry their legacy to the whole world,” said Ebrahim Bin Karam, Chief Commercial Officer, EPG.

Etihad Rail was formed with a mandate to manage the development, construction and operation of the UAE’s national railway, which will link the main centres of population and industry of the UAE, and will form a vital part of the planned GCC railway network. The development of the Etihad Rail network is in line with both the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and UAE Vision 2021.
