Man caught red-handed breaking into car in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: A man was arrested for breaking into a car in a parking lot and attempting to steal the valuables inside.

The police had been recieving several reports about break and entry into vehicles.

The suspect, an Arab man, was tracked and caught red-handed. He subsequently admitted to committing several car burglaries in the same area.

The stolen items were confiscated and the suspect taken into custody for interrogation.

Colonel Ahmad Saif Bin Zaitoun Al Muhairi, director of Capital Police Directorate, urged motorists to lock their vehicles and desist from leaving valuables inside them.

The police also urged people to report suspicious activities.
