Dubai to host conference on child abuse

Dubai: Dubai has been chosen for the first time to host the fifth Arab Regional Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect. The announcement was made on Sunday by the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the Arab Society for the Prevention of Violence against Children. The conference will be held under the theme ‘From Legislation to Implementation’, and will be organised by the Dubai Foundation for Women and Children from November 19 to 22 at the Roda Al Bustan Hotel.
