Campaign against street vendors in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi’s Department of Economic Development (DED) announced it has launched an extensive campaign in the emirate’s Al Mafraq industrial area as well as in the Western Region to combat street vendors.

The campaign in the industrial area resulted in 26 fines, the seizure of five vehicles, and the destruction of a large quantity of seized goods, including clothes, vegetables, and fruits.

In the raid in the Western Region, 10 fines were issued, and a large quantity of goods was destroyed.
