Diwali in Dubai: UAE residents celebrate festival with shopping spree

Diwali celebrations in Dubai are full of colour, lights, delicious food and shopping. The Indian festival known as Diwali or Deepavali takes its name from the rows of oil lamps, electric lights or paper lanterns that decorate the homes, offices and public spaces of those who celebrate the holiday.

The ‘Diwali in Dubai’ calendar is packed with an array of fantastic offers, thrilling raffles, spectacular live entertainment, incredible fireworks and captivating events

Bazaars in the city wear a festive look, and there is a heavy rush in the markets with people busy shopping for gifts, clothing and sweets until late evenings.
