‘It was an absolute fun-filled learning experience’ says the actress

From VJing to making a mark in films, Sriya Reddy had it all before she quit the industry after marrying producer Vikram Krishna.
After a six-year hiatus, Reddy returns to films with Andaava Kanom, (Missing Vessel) in Tamil. Reddy, who is remembered for her roles in Thimuru, Veyil and Kanchivaram, once again slips into a village role in Theni.
Talking about her experiences in Theni, where the film was shot, Reddy said: “We had been shooting here for the past two months. The people of Theni have been wonderful with their hospitality and co- operation to ensure the smooth conduct of the shooting. Many of them have acted too. Trust me they were spontaneous. It was an absolute fun-filled learning experience to interact with them. And I never missed my home thanks to them.”
As a thanksgiving gesture and with Diwali around the corner, the unit distributed sweets, crackers and clothes on October 18 to the people.
The story about a missing vessel is produced by JSK Film Corporation and Leo Vision.
