They help in staying focused Gadgets help to make a person stay singularly focused. Full stop. No ifs and buts, what or when, where, why and how.

They come with a lifesaver... Gadgets come with instruction manuals and men love that. Relationships, in contrast, don't and men don't like that. What's more, gadgets don't talk back and can be switched off at any time.

They make the right noises If gadgets have a problem, they make noises or just shut up. That gets the complete attention of men. When women have a problem, they make noises or just shut up. That gets the complete inattention of men.

They offer unlimited talk time Talking about their latest gadgets makes men feel like they are discussing rocket science. How many times have you been subjected to conversations about gadgetry as though they will save the world?

They don't differentiate ... between mature and immature men. Gadgets are impartial, non-judgmental and don't have tear ducts. They don't ask for explanations, require
no appeasement. In short, gadgets don't cry.

They help men to be boys. Men are little boys at heart, they love toys – and gadgets help men appease the boy in them.
They make for an electronic wardrobe Gadgets are to men what shopping is to women. When men speak about gadgets, it is as if they are speaking a secret code that women can't decode or decipher.

They make power statements For many women, the latest designer shoes, bags and clothes spell power. For
many men, gadgets are the ultimate objects of desire.

They bestow secret powers When men start to talk of gadgets, they end up making everyone else in the room feel invisible. How cool is that?
