Menino de Bandar will present his stunning tiatr, a traditional Goan stage performance, in Abu Dhabi on June 8.

This is a second tiatr event in Abu Dhabi following a successful show from Roseferns in April 2006.

Tiatr is a traditional musical drama on issues of family and social life in Goa depicted through acting, music and comedy.
The show is being organised by a group of Abu-Dhabi based-Goans for a second consecutive year.

Applauded as the "King of double Centuries" in his tiatr performance, Menino de Bandar, the writer and director of the tiatr, promises to rule the stage and entertain in this tiatr titled Khorench, hanv fattim pavlom (Yes, I was late.)

This is a real treat and get-together for the Konkani speaking community, which includes Goans, Mangaloreans and Bombayites.

The troupe comprises 16 artistes from Goa including traditional musicians. The cast includes Osvi Viegas, Anthony San, Felcy, Antonette de Candolim and hilarious comedy by Janet.

The tiatr will be staged in Abu Dhabi on June 8 at the Sudanese Social Club. The show can also be seen in Dubai on June 7 at Al Nasr Leisureland.
