Rania Al Hussaini speaks to budding artists at a student art exhibition-cum-competition
BITS Pilani Dubai Campus (BPDC) held its annual student art exhibition, Artex '06 recently on campus. The competition-cum-exhibition was divided into several categories. They included glass painting, fabric painting, sketching, arts and crafts, and a photography section.
Students put together about 100 sketches, 35 art and craft ideas and 160 photographs. Their work was judged and winners selected. They will receive trophies and certificates at BPDC's Annual Cultural and Sports Day to be held at the end of the academic year.
