Ginny & Georgia Season 3 was filled with surprises, and Season 4 will see more shocks down the line.

It was a long wait, but here we are at least. The Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia’s was a rather shocking finale.

So here's a recap: The story picks up with Georgia (Brianne Howey) arrested for the murder of Tom Fuller, Cynthia’s husband. Initially, her loved ones rallied behind her, but everything changed when PI Gabriel Cordova accused Georgia of being a serial killer, revealing her dark past, including her two deceased husbands and Ginny’s (Antonia Gentry) incriminating poem from Season 2. Public opinion quickly turned against her.

Despite the mounting evidence, Georgia’s children wanted her freed. Ginny’s life unraveled further after Marcus confessed he didn’t love her. When Ginny and Austin were removed from Georgia’s home and placed with their fathers—raising fears due to Gil’s violent tendencies—the situation worsened. Paul’s divorce announcement seemed like the final blow, until Austin’s courtroom testimony flipped the script.

Expecting a guilty verdict, Georgia was stunned when Austin falsely claimed he saw Gil kill Tom with a pillow. Though untrue, this testimony, along with Cynthia’s statement that Gil could have killed Tom unnoticed, planted enough doubt for Georgia’s acquittal. The narrative shifted: Georgia went from “Mayoress Murderess” to a victim of domestic abuse wrongfully accused.

Behind the scenes, Ginny orchestrated the deception to protect her brother Austin from Gil’s violence. After years of resisting her mother’s manipulative nature, Ginny finally adopted those tactics herself to keep her family safe—showing how far she’d come in embracing her own dark side.

Gasp, will we get a Season 4?

Yes, we will, you don't have to wait for an announcement. Netflix has already given it the green light!

Following the success of season 2, Netflix announced back in May 2023 that both seasons 3 and 4 were officially renewed. Things are moving smoothly, too: just weeks after revealing the season 3 release date, the team jumped straight into season 4 production.

In February, the official Ginny & Georgia Instagram shared a peek inside the writers’ room, captioned: “First day of the season 4 writer’s room!!! Based on today alone season 4 is going to be a RIDE.”

The creators haven’t shared the filming dates for Ginny & Georgia season 4 yet, but judging by the previous seasons, it’s likely to begin shooting in late 2025 or early 2026.

Season 3 filming kicked off just over a year before it premiered on Netflix, as the official Instagram revealed last year.

There’s no release date for season 4 yet, which makes sense since season 3’s date was only announced about four months before it dropped.

So far, the show has followed a pattern of roughly two years between seasons: season 1 in 2021, season 2 in 2023, and season 3 in 2025. If that trend continues, we might expect season 4 to arrive around 2027.

What to expect

Season 4 will continue to explore the evolving dynamics within the Miller family and their community in Wellsbury. While specific plot details are under wraps, creator Sarah Lampert has mentioned that Seasons 3 and 4 were planned together, ensuring a cohesive narrative arc, according to TV Insider. The core cast is expected to return, including Brianne Howey as Georgia Miller, Antonia Gentry as Ginny Miller, Diesel La Torraca as Austin Miller, and supporting characters such as Jennifer Robertson (Ellen Baker), Felix Mallard (Marcus Baker), and Sara Waisglass (Maxine "Max" Baker) .
