However, he can't get enough sleep because he hears voices which he eventually realises are ghosts still lingering on earth because of unfulfilled wishes.

He then discovers that only he can help them fulfil their wishes. Realising that he won't be able to live in peace, he agrees to help the ghosts - a child, an old man, and a young woman. Guiding him in the mission is another ghost, Kapoor (Irani). The movie's plot is similar to that of the 2008 Hollywood flick Ghost Town, but the script and screenplay have been credited to Arshad Ali, Soumik Sen and Arshad Warsi. So we'll have to wait and see how original the movie is. Warsi is also the producer of the movie.

"I have always wanted to make films and when the idea for this film was introduced to me, I jumped at it," says Warsi. "The best part of producing a film is that you have complete creative freedom, which is great."

Warsi convinced director Kaushik to tone down the serious parts of the movie. Many critics believe that Warsi's best performance was in his first collaboration with Kaushik in Sehar, so there is a possibility that Warsi will once again shine in Hum Tum Aur Ghost.

Lead role

Mirza has been playing inconsequential roles lately, which haven't done justice to her talent. Luckily, Warsi promised her that he would sign her on as a main lead when he launches his own production house and he has kept his promise. "Hum Tum Aur Ghost has an interesting subject with a beautiful love story set in London," says Mirza. "I play Gehna who is in love with Armaan but isn't able to understand Armaan's weird behaviour and their relationship suffers. I am very happy to do the film with Arshad and Boman, with whom I share a great rapport. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hope the film is appreciated by the audience."

Besides Warsi's comic timing, the film will bank on Irani's performance to hold the film in good stead.
