Kamal Haasan’s elder brother dies

Kamal Haasan’s elder brother, Chandrahasan, died of a cardiac arrest in London, a source said. He was 82.

“He was at his daughter Anu Hasan’s residence at the time of his death on Saturday,” the source said.

A lawyer by profession, Chandrahasan was also associated with the home production banner Raaj Kamal Films International.

Chandrahasan was associated with the production of films such as Hey Ram, Nala Damayanti, Virumaandi and Vishwaroopam.

Earlier in 2017, Chandrahasan’s wife, Githamani, had passed away.
