Sleepless in Seoul

Party girl Paris is back in gossip columns, this time with a bizarre show of boredom at an event in Seoul

Paris Hilton can't stay away from our pages for too long can she? We hadn't really given her due credit the last few months so it was inevitable that sooner or later Ms Hilton was going to do something bizarre enough to make her way back into our gossip pages.

This time, bizarre came in the form of boredom. Not that Paris has been known for her keen attentiveness, but even so, a yawn-in-your-face public display of boredom is a first even for her.

The heiress was in Korea recently to represent a South Korean sportswear giant, Fila Korea. While there, she decided to put in some media time and attended a press conference promoting international business and brands in Korea.

However, rather unfortunately, the conference didn't live up to Paris' expectations and soon enough she showed very public signs of extreme boredom.

What began as stifled yawns soon turned into open-mouthed, air-gulping gasps for breath and eventually ended with Paris just holding her head, silently screaming out for the talk to stop so that she could do what she does best: pose against larger than life pictures of herself smiling coyly for the cameras.

Except this time the camera crew couldn't care less about those picturesque poses. Instead, they got the scoop they wanted.

Proof that Paris isn't really into anything intelligent. Instead of stimulating her into giving intelligent responses, the conference did what a math class would do to most of us: put her to sleep.
