Classical music, Berlin-style, in Dubai

The latest in the World Classical Music Series of concerts will see a performance by the Philharmonic String Quintet Berlin on April 9.

The five members are Luiz Felipe Coelho (1st violin); Romano Tommasini (2nd violin); Wolfgang Talirz (viola); David Riniker (violoncello); and

Janusz Widzyk (double bass), all members of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.

Expect the sounds of Antonin Dvorak, Rossini, Ottorino Respighi, Giacomo Puccini, Giovanni Bottesini and Antonio Bazzini at the performance at The One&Only Royal Mirage’s Royal Ballroom.
