September is looking a whole lot better for Exo fans, collectively known as Exo-L or Exo-Love. Last week, Downtown Dubai announced in a tweet that Exo’s hit song Power will be played once again at The Dubai Fountain at 8pm throughout this month “due to popular demand”.

Two days later, Dubai Tourism confirmed on Twitter that the uplifting three-minute song will be heard every day at the country’s iconic choreographed fountain show.

The 2017 track was first introduced to the UAE public in January when it was added to the fountain’s music repertoire and was extended until March due to its immense popularity.

Sara Ahmad, one of the administrators of the country’s main Exo fan account, EXOinUAE1, on Twitter, tells Gulf News tabloid! fans are “very excited” about the news.

“Since there are many Exo fans in the region, some of them were not able to enjoy watching the show previously, so this is a great chance for them. Moreover, Power is one of the most upbeat songs played at the fountain and it’s fun to watch,” she says.

Power is the first Korean track to be included in the light and water show and was also performed by the heartthrobs at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Olympics Games closing ceremony earlier this year.

The K-Pop superstars thrilled Exo-Ls with their appearance in Dubai to celebrate the Power launch and their performance at the SM Town Live World Tour VI earlier this year. Now, fans are anticipating much more than their comeback.

“We’re also wishing for an Exo individual concert in Dubai next year,” Ahmad says.
