The MTV Movie and TV Awards were held on Sunday night in Los Angeles with the who’s who of Hollywood and the American TV industry in attendance.

Celebrities sashayed down the red carpet for the glamorous event, including the stars of the highly-acclaimed show 13 Reasons Why.

Grammy and Golden Globe-nominated artist Nick Jonas teamed up with producer Mustard to perform their new single Anywhere for the first time at the awards night. Mustard is a multi-platinum producer composed Rihanna’s chart-buster Needed Me in 2016.

The R’n’B sister-duo Chloe x Halle also performed to a medley of The Kids Are Alright and Warrior from their debut album, which released in 2016. Mentored by pop singer Beyonce, the sisters appeared in her hit visual album Lemonade and also performed at the singer’s The Formation World Tour.

The presenters of the star-studded night included Black Panther’s Michael B Jordan, Kristen Bell, Mila Kunis and Zendaya to name a few.

While we wait with bated breath to find out the winners, it was previously announced that Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World fame actor Chris Pratt would receive this year’s Generation Award. Lena Waithe, who starred in Steven Speilberg’s Ready Player One, was to be honoured with the Trailblazer Award.
