Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s divorce stalled

Singer Cheryl Fernandez-Versini’s impending divorce to Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini has reportedly stalled due to his reluctance to sign a “no talk” order.

According to a source, Cheryl is being prevented from taking her relationship with new love interest Liam Payne to the next level due to Jean-Bernard’s refusal to sign documentations banning him from talking about their short-lived marriage.

“Jean-Bernard has moved on, it’s been a really tough year for him with his father dying, leaving him the only remaining member of his family,” the source said.

“Then there is getting divorced and being bound by a confidentially agreement — which means he can never defend himself or clarify any false reports.”

“He’d never say anything bad about Cheryl, but he realised a long time ago, when he had to deal with everything alone, she wasn’t the girl for him,” the source added.

Cheryl married Jean-Bernard in 2014 after a three-month courtship. She announced their separation earlier this year.
