A tete-a-tete with a DJ ruling the turntables. This week: DJ Pierre Ravan.

My hands are full with: The launch of my new album Karavan: Human Integration. This is the third in the Karavan series. I am excited about launching it at the Chi on April 3.

Karavan: Human Integration is all about: Guiding the listeners on a spiritual journey through music. The final destination is up to the people. The album is a double CD compilation. The first one is called Sun Dance and the second is called Moon Dance.

Sun Dance Vs Moon Dance: As the title suggests, Sun Dance symbolises the day journey with soulful, down-to-earth music while Moon Dance has elements of House Music that is dark and progressive. And my album is not about war, sex or violence. A positive energy runs through it.

My experience at the Perrier Chill Out Fest: I enjoyed myself thoroughly and I thought VJ Aranka did a fantastic job providing the visuals to my music. But I wish I had a better time slot than the 7pm one.

As a fashion DJ I loved working with: John Galliano. I loved working with him and providing music for his fashion shows. He is a fan of House music and that made it easy for us to bond.

The secret behind my energy: I am on the road most weekends. But despite my hectic globe-trotting lifestyle, I take some time out for myself to revitalise. So should you.

About the DJ: Pierre Ravan, who prides himself in adding a spiritual touch to his music, is currently riding high on the completion of his new album. The album will be officially launched on April 3 at the Chi.
