Bollywood actress Charu Rohatgi dies

Indian actress Charu Rohatgi, who is known for her role as actress Parineeti Chopra’s mother in Ishaqzaade and in movies such as 15 Park Avenue and No One Killed Jessica, died after suffering a cardiac arrest on January 15. She was 50.

It was Chopra who first took to her Twitter account to express her grief with: “RIP Charu Rohatgi ma’am. You were the most loving mother in Ishaqzaade and an amazing woman to work with. May your family have the strength to cope with this loss. Will never forget you!!!”

Rohatgi has also worked on TV serials such as Trideviyaan and Pratigya.
