Actress starts her year with the single ‘Tum Ho Toh Lagta Hai’
Actress Taapsee Pannu, who is having a prolific year, says she’s afraid people will get sick of seeing her on-screen.
Pannu’s last film was Baby, opposite Akshay Kumar, which released in January last year. But this year she features in the Hindi single Tum Ho Toh Lagta Hai, sung by Shaan and composed by Amaal Malik, opposite Saqib Saleem.
At the launch of the song, Pannu spoke about her ‘break’. She said, “I was doing films that you’ll see in the festive season. It has just begun; this [single] is just the trailer for me for this year. There’s going to be Pink, there is Tadka and there are a couple of projects coming up.
I have been shooting non-stop, it’s just that the shooting has been a bit delayed. You will see me, just that there shouldn’t be an overdose, that’s what I am really scared of.”
While Pannu will share screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Shoojit Sircar’s production Pink, in Tadka she will act opposite Nana Patekar, Shriya Saran and Ali Fazal.
While in the past year, Pannu hasn’t featured in Hindi movies, she has worked on projects in South India including Kanchana 2 and Vai Raja Vai.
