Sunny Kaushal to be launched in Bollywood

Sunny Kaushal, the son of action choreographer Shyam Kaushal and younger brother of actor Vicky Kaushal, is set to launch a career in Bollywood with Shailendra Singh’s directorial debut Sunshine Music Tours and Travels.

Excited about his foray into films, Singh said in a statement: “My first directorial venture has everything that I was looking for in a Bollywood film — mauj, masti and masala [fun and entertainment] along with a new journey in Bollywood for Sunny.”

According to a source, Kaushal keeps his surname a secret when he goes for auditions. Only after he bagged the role did Kaushal reveal that he was Shyam Kaushal’s son.

Shyam has worked on the stunts for films such as Slumdog Millionaire and Bajirao Mastani.

The film Sunshine Music Tours and Travels is a travel-based story and is set to release in India on September 2.
