Shatrughan Sinha tweets his praise for the actor and his latest film ‘Manjhi – The Mountain Man’

Actor-turned-politican Shatrughan Sinha has given a thumbs up to Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s film Manjhi – The Mountain Man calling the actor “the discovery of the century”.
Directed by Ketan Mehta, the biographical film is about Dashrath Manjhi, a resident of Gehlaur village in the Gaya district of Bihar. Manjhi single-handedly cut through a hill to make a road for his village. He died in 2007 in his early 80s.
Sinha took to Twitter on Saturday to express his feelings about the film.
In a series of tweets, he wrote: “Manjhi — a dynamic, realistic and timely film of Bihari pride and the original, strong DNA of a son of Bihar.
“Proud of this inspiring story of a son of the soil of Gaya, the great land of my ancestors. #Manjhi inspires lovers of life and believers in true love for all times. I salute state governments including Bihar for giving it tax rebates.
“The earthy dynamite @Nawazuddin_S is the discovery of the century. @radhika_apte is lovely and laudable. Wish roaring success.”
Manjhi – The Mountain Man also stars Radhika Apte as Phaguniya, Manjhi’s wife.
