Juma Al Majed centre to renovate Uzbek manuscripts and documents

Dubai: Juma Al Majed Centre for Culture and Heritage and Tashkent-based Birouni Institute for Oriental Studies signed a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday at the Emirates Palace Hotel at the end of a visit of Islam Karimov, President of Uzbekistan, to the UAE.

The memorandum calls for the exchange of expertise, visits, research and publications.

As per the agreement, the centre will renovate documents and manuscripts at the Uzbek centre.
