1990s nostalgia concert in Dubai

If Justin Bieber or Eminem are not your think, perhaps the sounds of the 1990s will get you dancing. This November, MiX TAPE Rewind, a one-day festival, will bring seven artists whose songs dominated the radio in the 90s to Dubai’s Emirates Golf Club.

Haddway (“What is Love”), Culture Beat (“Mr. Vain”), Snap (“Power”), La Bouche (“Sweet Dreams”), No Mercy (“Where Do You Go”), Go West and Jenny Berggren from Ace of Base (“All That She Wants”) will bring their Euro-pop hits to the concert on November 16 from 8pm. “MiX TAPE Rewind is a culmination of everything we remember about the 90s music; Music that remind us of images, words, fleeting emotions and even make us chuckle. We wanted to recreate that feeling; our selection of artists for this debut performance brings back so many memories for a lot of us and I guarantee that everyone will walk away reminiscing at the end of the night” said Mario Zakhary, Managing Director, Sundance Events.
