UAE to participate in IMF, WB meetings

Abu Dhabi: The UAE’s Ministry of Finance and Central Bank will participate in the annual meetings of the World Bank Group and the International Monetary Fund, which will be held in Peru from October 9-11.

Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, will head the delegation in the meetings. This year’s meetings will discuss initiatives and project ideas proposed from across the world to support the development of the global economy, eradicate poverty, and activate aid plans.
