Sharjah sees 400,000 Russian guests in 2014

Dubai: Sharjah attracted more than 400,000 Russian hotel guests in 2014, according to a statement by the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority yesterday. Many of the Russian guests stayed at beach resorts, the authority said. It did not state the number of Russian guests in Sharjah in 2013. The authority attended the Moscow International Travel and Tourism Exhibition (MITT) from March 18 to 21, where it showcased its tourism offerings.
