Marriott opens first Makkah hotel

It has 19 properties in the Saudi pipeline

Dubai: Marriott International has opened a new hotel in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, according to a statement on Monday.

The 426-room hotel is the hotel chain’s first property in the city.

Guests using the Marriott Mobile App can check-in before their arrival and receive an automatic notification when their room is ready.

The company has 19 new Saudi properties in the pipeline. It has 502 hotels and resorts in 51 countries around the world.
