Dubai World and Tamani Hotels and Resorts raise fund for charity
Dubai: KM Holding, parent company of KM Properties and Tamani Hotels and Resorts, and Dubai World have raised funding for various charity organisations in the UAE.
The fund was raised through donations from this year's Ramadan tent.
Dubai World Secretary-General Farid Mohammad Ahmad said: "Dubai World realises the significance of supporting charity organisations and the Ramadan tent at Tamani Hotel Marina provided us the right platform to show our commitment to society."
Tamani Hotel Marina in Dubai is a 55-floor tower on the Marina. This five star hotel is known for being the tallest five star luxury all-suites hotel in Dubai.
"Tamani Hotels and Resorts strong social commitment is a large part of our corporate brand values; our desire is to give back to the community where we apportion certain percentage of our business profit towards supporting social development programs to help less fortunate citizens achieve better lives," said Roddy Gordon, Vice President Sales and Marketing Tamani Hotels and Resorts.
