DTCM launches programme to develop Dubai tourism

Dubai: Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) will unveil short-term and long-term plans for development and recruitment of young Emirati people, with a launch at Careers UAE, the tourism authority said in a statement on Monday. The “Tourism Talent Incubator” will be a long-term industry familiarisation programme offered to all new Emirati graduate recruits by DTCM, with the first intake happening later in the year, DTCM stated. It added that the modular plan will be designed to provide opportunities for graduates to obtain a broad experience of the tourism industry.
