Dh50m store will be home furnishing firm’s ninth outlet in UAE

DUBAI:

Shaikh Nahyan Bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance, officially opened home furnishing firm Danube Home’s biggest UAE showroom at Cubes Park, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi, on Friday.

The Dh50 million, 75,000-square-foot shop is the chain’s ninth UAE store.

Danube Group director Adel Sajan said, “This being one of our largest stores across the region adds another feather in our cap. “Currently, we have a total of 25 plus stores across the Mena region, which are running successfully. We are confident that the new store will help us penetrate further in the region, and will allow us continuously enhance our service and shopping experiences for our customers.”

Sajan said the home furnishing market was expected to expand to be worth $664 billion globally by 2020.

Danube Home’s General Manager, Shubhojit Mahalanobis, said, “The home furnishing market is witnessing a robust growth all over the world and so are we.”
