Nakheel awards Dh59m contract

Dubai: Developer Nakheel has awarded a contract worth nearly Dh59 million at its Al Furjan master community to Dubai-based Ghantoot Road contacting.

The contract includes the construction of a new road, modifications to existing roads and utilities network connection for more than 30 mixed-use plots. Nakheel said in a statement that the work is scheduled to be completed by the third quarter 2015.

The plots are located in Al Furjan Phase 2, which spans 1.2 million square metres.
