Hyundai wins Abu Dhabi ports contract

Abu Dhabi: Abu Dhabi Ports Company Sunday announced the award of a Dh1.2 billion contract to Hyundai Engineering and Construction for its flagship Khalifa Port and Industrial Zone project.

The pact includes project management, design, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning of all civil works associated with the Offshore Terminal Area. Work will begin immediately and is to be completed by the fourth quarter of 2012.
